Cuisine Solutions was first established in 1987 by founder and now Chairman Stanislas Vilgrain. It opened its first plant in Louviers in France in 1989.

The company, now led by CEO and President Felipe Hasselmann, is the largest sous vide company in the world and a leading culinary innovation partner, with locations in Asia, North America, Europe and the Middle East.
